needle goes into fabric on one side and over the edge

use a fine darning thread for lightweight fabric ►
Satin Stitch
dense stitch used for appliqué, embroidery, etc. ►
shorten stitch length, satin stitch setting will be indicated ►
by parallel lines on stitch length bar
