Release the hose clamp (arrow) securing the va-
pour discharge hose with the assistance of pli-
ers,
BMW No. 17 5 500
•
Disconnect vapour discharge hose (1)
•
Remove fasteners (arrows) from front frame
•
Remove front frame complete with radiator and
headlight
When installing:
•
Installation is the reverse of the removal proce-
dure
X
Torque specification:
Front frame mount ....................................... 14 Nm
Removing and installing radiator with
fan shroud in front frame
– Remove front frame with radiator
•
Remove fasteners (1) securing air duct
•
Remove fasteners (2) from front frame
•
Release hose clamp (arrow) with pliers,
BMW No. 17 5 500
•
Disconnect vent hose (1)
•
Lift radiator with fan shroud to the rear and up to
remove
