Main Sheet (W indows)
The following settings are available on the Main sheet. For details on settings items, refer to the printer
driver help.
Note
• On the Main sheet, choose Easy Settings to specify basic print settings based on the print target, or
switch to Advanced Settings to complete more detailed settings as desired.
Conguration using Easy Settings
Setting Item Description
A Media T ype
Select the paper type.
For information on the types of paper the printer supports, refer to the Paper
Reference Guide . ( → P .108)
B Get Information Click to display the Get Information dialog box, which shows media types
and sizes by media source, as specied on the printer . When you select a
media source, your selection is applied to the printer driver settings for the
media source, media type, and roll width.
C Preferences
Click to display the Media Detailed Settings dialog box for ink drying time
and other detailed settings based on the paper type.
E Print T arget Choose presets that match the type of document to be printed.

Depending on the Media T ype setting, some Print T arget options may
not be available.
F V iew Settings Click to display the V iew Settings dialog box, which enables you to conrm
the settings for the selected item from the E Print T arget list or change the
order of items listed in E Print T arget .
L Open Preview When Print
Job Starts
Activate this option to preview the print image before printing.
