Operation
When the ignition key is turned to OFF, the
immobilizer inhibits engine operation.
When the ignition key is turned back to ON to start
the engine, the following happens:
1) if the code is recognized, the immobilizer enables
engine starting. Press the START button (5), to
start the engine;
2)
if code is not recognized, the instrument panel
will automatically activate the PIN entering
function. Refer to the PIN code Entering
procedure to unlock the vehicle. If the other key
does not work out either, contact the Ducati
Service network.

Attention
Any important shock might damage the
electronic components fitted into the key. Use only
one key during the procedure. Failure to do so might
prevent the system from recognizing the code of the
key in use.
