Error Types and Countermeasures
Follow the flowcharts on the next page based on the ERROR LED blinking patterns in the table
below and repair the printer. The printer does the following when an error occurs:
❏ All operations stop
❏ The printer goes off-line (when DIP SW 1-8 is off).
❏ The ERROR LED blinks.

CPU is trying to execute an invalid
address.
(7) Thermistor error
There is an abnormality in detecting
the print head temperature or the print
head rank can not be read correctly.
