Ribbon Cassette Handling Precautions
❏ Use only the ribbon cassette specified in Chapter 1 of this manual. If another ribbon cassette
is used, any of the following may occur:
• Print quality deterioration
• Printer life may be shortened
•Ink may leak
• The ribbon may catch on the print head.
❏ Do not re-ink a ribbon. If a ribbon is re-inked:
• Print quality could deteriorate due to a malfunction of the print wires
•Ink may leak.
