2. Load paper again with the paper inserted
fully as shown in the diagram.
Inside Top Cover
Follow the procedure below to remove any jammed paper when SimpleMonitor displays the
following message: “Paper jammed at the main assembly.”
1. Open the front cover while pressing the
front cover open/close levers of the printer.
Important
• Do not touch any parts inside the printer.
2. Hold both sides of the top cover by the grip
and open it slowly.
3. Hold both sides of the jammed paper and
pull it out slowly.
Note
• If you cannot remove the jammed paper, remove the
drum/toner cartridge from the printer and try to remove
the paper again.
• Which direction you pull out the jammed paper differs
depending on the place and status of the paper jam.
