4.4 Printing on Custom Size Paper
This section explains how to print on custom size paper. Custom size paper can be loaded
only on the bypass tray. For information about how to load paper on the bypass tray, refer
to “Loading Paper on Bypass Tray” (P. 57).
Registering Custom Size Paper
The procedure below uses Windows XP as an example to explain the procedure.
Note
• For Windows XP/Windows 2000, system administrators, who have the access right can change the
settings. General users can only check the settings.
• When setting the [Custom Paper Size] dialog box on Windows XP/Windows 2000/Windows Server
2003, it also affects the settings of other printers on the computer as the form data base of the computer
is used.
• When setting on Windows Me/Windows 98, settings of other printers on the computer will not be
affected as the settings of paper sizes are defined by each printer icon.
1. From the [start] menu, click [Printers and Faxes].
2. Click the icon of the printer, and then select [Properties] from the [File] menu.
3. Click the [Configuration] tab.
4. Click the [Custom Paper Size] button.
