4.2 Printing on Envelopes
The procedure to print on envelopes is as follows. For details on the envelopes that can be
used, refer to “Usable Paper” (P. 52).
Loading Envelopes
You have to close the flap of the envelope, and load it with the flap facing up in the
orientation shown in the diagram below.
The following explains how to load envelopes in the bypass tray, using COM#10 envelopes
as an example.
Important
• Do not print on the reverse side of envelope. It may cause paper jams or damage to the printer.
Note
• Before loading the envelopes, place them on a flat surface and close their flaps completely.
• Running an envelope with its flap not completely folded may cause a paper size error.
1. Open the bypass tray by holding the
depressed area and pulling out and down
as shown in the diagram.
