6.8 Installation Settings (Installation)
Set the following parameters.

Item Range Description
Serial No. 6 digits
Displays or changes a six-digit serial number
(numbers of 0 through 9 and upper case
alphabets of A through Z).
HexDump OFF/ON
Displays or changes whether to enable Hex-
Dump.
Tone Correction (IOT tone control) OFF/ON
Displays or changes whether to enable the
IOT tone correction.
Pixel Counter -
Displays the pixel count of the last page.
• Displays the ESS-ASIC based pixel count of
the last page printed, as a coverage ratio
with respect to the area 4 mm inside all
sides of A4.
• The value is rounded off to the first decimal
place.
Configuration
Dip Switch 0 8 digits
Displays or changes the dip switch values on
the NVM of the ESS (0/1 for each digit).
Dip Switch 1 8 digits
Dip Switch 2 8 digits
Dip Switch 3 8 digits
Meter Type
Type1/

Displays or changes the Meter Type informa-
tion currently set.
Print Counter

(B/W print counter)

Displays the current value of the following
counters.
• B/W print count in the normal mode
• B/W print count in the toner saver mode
• Report print count
B/W Backup
(Backup B/W print counter)

Displays the backup value of the B/W print
counter.
B/W Error
(B/W print error counter)

Displays the number of auto-recoveries per-
formed when the value of the B/W print
counter is different from that of the Backup B/
W print counter.

- Displays the value of the B/W copy counter.

Displays the backup value of the B/W copy
counter.
