Scan Size
Allows you to select the scan size of the docu-
ment.
 Auto Detect
Recognizes the document size automatically.
 Preset Size
Displays the available Scan Sizes that have
been set with System Settings.
Note • For details of setting the scan sizes to be displayed, refer to "Preset Size Buttons" (P.243).

Original Orientation
Set the orientation in which the document is to be loaded to specify which edge to
insert first.
Note • If the actual document orientation does not match the one set with [Original Orientation], the
wrong edge is determined by the machine. This will cause the Stamp and Watermark to be
overlaid in the wrong orientation.
 Head to Top
Select this item when setting the top of the docu-
ment as the lead edge.
 Head to Bottom
Select this item when setting the bottom of the
document as the lead edge.
