Step 6
Provision the E-SC-E1 port equipment.
Note: If autoprovisioning is enabled, the E-SC-E1 port is automacally provisioned.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 subslot 0 port E-SC-E1 pluggableInterfaceType 1GEX admin-
status up
Note: If a 100ME SFP module is being used, specify 100ME for the pluggableInterfaceType instead of 1GEX.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 subslot 0 port E-SC-E1 pluggableInterfaceType 100ME
admin-status up
Important: Fujitsu does not recommend using third-party OSC SFP module because the performance
of third-party OSC module is not guaranteed.
Step 7
Provision the E-SC-E1 port interface.
Note: If autoprovisioning is enabled, the E-SC-E1 port interface is automacally provisioned.
Command:
% set interfaces interface eth-1/0/0/E-SC-E1 type ethernetCsmacd ethernet admin-
status up mtu 1800 speed 1000
Step 8
Provision the UTLP equipment.
Command:
% set eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 subslot 0 port UTLP pluggableInterfaceType Fixed
Note: If a user provisions any UTLP equipment in an earlier release, use the following commands.
Commands:
% delete eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 subslot 0 port UTLP
% set eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 subslot 0 port UTLP pluggableInterfaceType Fixed
Note: If a user provisions any UTLP equipment and UTLP interface in an earlier release, use the following
commands.

% delete interfaces interface eth-1/0/0/UTLP
% delete eqpt shelf 1 slot 0 subslot 0 port UTLP
