Plug in all LCN SFP (to the Main and tributary blades) and connect the interconnect LAN cables.
Step 37
List the USI of the tributary blade.
Command:
% show shelf-prov-mode-blades
Output:
USI LBFJTU011725463R110100xxx shelf-id 0
Step 38
Set the desired shelf ID on the tributary blade manually.
Command:
% request set-shelf-id USI LBFJTU011725463R110100xxx shelf-id #
Step Result:
The tributary blade restarts and autoprovisions with the new shelf ID.
Step 39
Aer restart, retrieve the tributary blade informaon.
Commands:
% show inventory | tab
% show eqpt shelf #
✓ This task is complete.

Replace Blade in Housing
Prerequisites:
■ An appropriate ESD wrist strap worn by user and properly grounded to avoid ESD damage during installaon
or removal
■ All bers removed from the blade and appropriately labeled
■ If used, all RJ-45 cables removed from the blade and appropriately labeled
■ If used, all PIUs removed from the blade
■ A recent database backup for the blade is available
■ Screwdriver set (including straight-slot and Phillips head)
