Main Console
Main Console description
The Main Console consists of a frame that acts as the skeleton
of the Ultrasound system. The other parts, listed below, are
mounted to the frame. The outside of the Main Console is
covered with plastic covers.
The Main Console hosts the:
• Patient I/O
• Front End Processor (FEP)
• Back End Processor (BEP)
• I/O Rear Panel (BEP I/O Board)
• Optional B/W printer
• Power Supply
• Lifting mechanism for the Frog Leg and Top Console
• Rear handle
• Front and Rear Casters with lock and brake mechanism
