The character size is represented by the codes shown in the following table.

(*1) Sizes No. 3 (7 x 10) and No. 4 (9 x 8) use the same character size code.
However, either of them may be automatically selected in accordance with the
"Character size menu 2" setting in the user environment setup screen.

The pattern data length per character varies with the character size as indicated
