CAMSHAFT IROCKER ARM
INSTALLATION
ROCKER ARM
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the rocker arm
bore and slipper surfaces.
Install the rocker arm and rocker arm shaft while
aligning the camshaft holder bolt holes with the
rocker arm shaft holes.
Check that the O-ring is in good condition, replace jf
necessary.
Apply oil to the O-ring and install it onto rocker arm
shaft cap.
Apply grease to the rocker arm shaft cap threads.
Install the rocker arm shaft cap and tighten to the
specified torque .
TORQUE: 5.9 N·m (0.6 kgf ·m, 4.3 Ibf.ft )
Be careful not to let Install the shims in their original locations .
the shims fall mlo
the left crankcase.
CAMSHAFT
Apply molybdenum oil solution to the Quter surface
of each valve lifter.
Install the valve lifters in their original locations.
