operation,
the
counter
can
send
a service
request
(SRQ)
to
the
controller
to
indicate
the
need
for
attention
and
can
act
as an
interrupt
to
the
current
sequence
of
events. Typically,
SRQ
indicates
data
is
ready
to
transmit
and/or
an
error
condition
exists. The
counter
can
send
an
SRQ
to
the
controller
under
any, all,
or
none
of
the
following
conditions,
as
defined
by
the
Service
Request
Mask.
The
Service

set
prior
to
the
condition.
