11.9 Replacing a Filter Dryer (Welded)
Prerequisites
● A lter dryer needs to be replaced.
● A spare welded lter dryer of the same model is available and functional.
● Tools: welding equipment, refrigerant reclaiming device
(congured based on
local conditions), Phillips screwdriver, nitrogen cylinder, refrigerant tank,
vacuum pump, pressure gauge, rubber hose, protective gloves
● Preparation: Power
o the indoor unit and reclaim the refrigerant in the
system.
Context
● Reclaim or dispose of the refrigerant in accordance with local laws and
regulations. The composition of the refrigerant R410A may change during the
recycling process. Therefore, you are not advised to charge the refrigerant back
to the cooling system.
