Selecting an operating band
The triple band stacking register provides three mem-
ories for each band to store frequencies and operating
modes.
If a band key is pushed once, the last used frequency
and operating mode are called up. When the key is
pushed again, the next previous stored frequency and
operating mode are called up.
• Push the band key that corresponds to the desired
operating bands [1.8]~[50] to select the amateur
band.
• The frequency and operating mode are memorized
into the band register of the selected frequency.
See the table below for a list of the selectable frequency
bands and their default frequency and mode settings.
D Using the band stacking registers
[Example: Operating in the 21 MHz band]
Push the [21] key, and then select a frequency and/ q
or operating mode.
• The selected frequency and operating mode are memo-
rized in the first band stacking register for that band.
Push [21] again, and then select another frequency w
and/or operating mode.
• The selected frequency and operating mode are memo-
rized in the second band stacking register.
Push [21] again, and then select another frequency e
and/or operating mode.
• The selected frequency and operating mode are memo-
rized in the third band stacking register.
Push other band keys, and then push [21] again. r
• The last used frequency and operating mode in the 21
MHz band are displayed.
• Each push of [21] selects the next band staking regis-
ter.
