D Transmitting an MDC Call Alert call
An MDC Call Alert call enables you to notify another
user who may be away from the transceiver that you
want to talk.
It also enables a user who is away from their
transceiver, that they have received a call from
another user.
<Key operation>
1. Push [Call Menu] to display the Call Menu screen.
2. Push [Up] or [Down] to select a station or group
ID, then push [OK].
3. Push [Up] or [Down] to select “Call Alert.”
4. Hold down [PTT] to transmit an MDC Call Alert
call.
• After receiving an acknowledgement, “Success” is
displayed.
• When the transceiver does not receive an
acknowledgement, “Failed” is displayed.
• After transmitting the Call Alert call, returns to the
Standby screen.
