8-1. Needle-to-hook relation
[Hook timing adjustment mode]
The hook timing adjustment is used when adjusting the needle-to-hook timing, etc.
1) Keep

held pressed for three
seconds.
The "mode screen" is displayed.

2) Select "3. Hook timing adjustment
mode".

WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the sewing machine, be sure to
change over the operation mode to the "hook timing adjustment mode".
The presser foot automatically goes up when changing over the operation mode to the "hook timing
adjustment mode". Also remember that the presser foot comes down when the "Hook timing adjust-
ment mode" is terminated. Be sure carry out the operation while keeping your hands, etc. away from
the presser foot.
