15.2 Installing the 12-V battery

Main work

– Insert the 12 V battery into the battery compartment with the

terminals facing forward and secure with holding bracket

12-V battery (HJTZ5S-FP-C) ( p. 161)

–

Mount and tighten screw

Guideline

Remaining screws,

chassis

M6 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft)

Place relays

and connector

on the battery compart-

ment and attach the wiring harness

Attach starter relay

and fuse box

to the battery com-

partment.

Secure EFI control unit

with the rubber lugs
