4. Precautions for transporting the

tractor safely

• Carry the tractor on a truck if the tractor is

damaged. Secure the tractor tightly with ropes.

•

Follow the instruction as follows when towing the

tractor. Otherwise, powertrain of the tractor may get

damaged.

– Set the all shift levers to their “NEUTRAL”

position.

– If possible, start the engine and select 2WD. If

creep speed is fitted, make sure that creep

speed is disengaged.

– Tow the tractor using its front hitch or drawbar.

– Never tow the tractor faster than the following

speed.

5. Directions for use of the power

steering

• The power steering is activated only while the

engine

is running. Slow engine speeds weight the

steering a little. While the engine is stopped, the

tractor functions in the same manner as tractors

without power steering.

• Turning the steering wheel all the way to the stop

activates the relief valve. Do not hold the steering

wheel in the stop for a long period of time.

• Avoid turning the steering wheel while the tractor is

stopped. Otherwise tires may wear out sooner.

• The steering becomes easier due to the power-

steering-mechanism. Be careful when driving on a

road at high speeds.

  If your Kubota Tractor engine overheats, several factors could be responsible. It might be due to the engine being overloaded, in which case you should shift to a lower gear or reduce the load. A low coolant level can also cause overheating, so fill the cooling system to the correct level and inspect the radiator and hoses for any loose connections or leaks. A loose or defective fan belt can also lead to overheating, so adjust or replace the fan belt as necessary. Additionally, a dirty radiator core or grille screens can restrict airflow, so remove any trash. Finally, a corroded coolant flow route can impede cooling efficiency, so flush the cooling system.

Why are the exhaust fumes from my Kubota Tractor colored?

  If the exhaust fumes from your Kubota Tractor are colored, it indicates a problem. Black exhaust fumes can be caused by poor fuel quality, too much oil, or a clogged air cleaner. To resolve this, change the fuel and fuel filter, check that the oil level is correct, and clean or replace the air filter element. Blue-white exhaust fumes may be due to fuel inside the exhaust muffler, a problem with the injection nozzle, or poor fuel quality. To address this, heat the muffler by applying a load to the engine, check the injection nozzle, and change the fuel and fuel filter.
