1.2.5 Definition of inputs/outputs
The user program is connected with the hardware by linking system blocks with program
organisation units (POUs):

Tip!
The input and output assignments are always made from the program viewpoint!
• Logic SB inputs are hardware outputs of the PLC.
• Logic SB outputs are hardware inputs of the PLC.
Example: The system block DIGITAL_IO of the 9300 Servo PLC
If you want to use the digital input 1 and ditigal output 1 of the 9300 Servo PLC proceed as follows:
1. Link the system block DIGITAL_IO explicitely with the DDS control configuration.

2. Access to digital input 1:
Assign a POU input to the system variable
DIGIN_bIn1_b .
3. Access to digital output 1:
Assign a POU output to the system variable
DIGOUT_bOut1_b .
