Appendix A – Example Dairy Readings
The table below lists example sensor readings when immersed in milk and cream. These are only guidelines
and it is recommended that you enter values using samples from your own process.
Example No.1: Whole Milk (4% Fat) using a S20 series sensor
100% Water Probe Signal = 1535
1% Milk Probe Signal = 1883
2% Milk Probe Signal = 2242
5% Milk Probe Signal = 2872
10% Milk Probe Signal = 3294
25% Milk Probe Signal = 3911
50% Milk Probe Signal = 4525
100% Milk Probe Signal = 5035
Example No.2: Cream (40% Fat) using a S10 series sensor
100% Water Probe Signal = 1510
100% Milk (4% Fat) Probe Signal = 4074
50% Cream ( 20% Fat) Probe Signal = 4919
100% cream (40 % Fat) Probe Signal = 5244
