The sensors must be free of dirt, ice or slush.
Otherwise, they cannot function correctly.
Clean the sensors regularly, taking care not to
scratch or damage them (Y page 342).

If an obstacle is within this area, the relevant
segments of the warning displays light up and
you hear a warning tone. If the distance falls
below the minimum, the distance from an obsta-
cle may no longer be shown.
