6. Select Add Row + as needed to include single rows in the static routes table.
7. Add IP addresses and network masks in the Network column.
8. Set or override the Gateway used to route traffic.
A green checkmark in the Default Gateway column defines a default gateway being applied. A red “X”
means a gateway assignment has been made.
A default gateway is desirable when an IP address does not match any other routes in the routing table.
A gateway routes traffic from a managed device to another network segment. The default gateway
connects the network to the outside network (Internet). The gateway is associated with a router, which
uses headers and forwarding tables to determine where packets are sent, providing the path for the
packet in and out of the gateway. Setting a default gateway for a device profile can help segregate
network traffic, on behalf of a profile, to a single default gateway.
9. Select OK to save the changes and overrides. Select Reset to revert to the last saved configuration.
