2. Install the removed NVRAM on the new EGB with the mark [A] pointing to the right side of the
board after you replace the EGB.

Replace the NVRAM if the NVRAM on the old EGB is defective.
• Keep the NVRAM away from objects that can cause static electricity. Static electricity can damage
NVRAM data.
•
Make sure that the NVRAM is correctly installed on the EGB.
