Damage to the membrane keyboard and the display
• Make sure when installing the device that the membrane keyboard and display are not
damaged.
3.2 Safety notes for hazardous areas
WARNING
Vibrations at the installation location
Explosion hazard
In hazardous areas, vibrations of the device more than 5 m/s² can cause an explosion.
• Make sure that the device is installed in a low-vibration location.
WARNING
Exceeding the maximum ambient or sample gas temperature
Danger of explosion in hazardous areas and damage to devices
• Ensure that the maximum permissible ambient temperature or sample gas temperature of
the device is not exceeded. Refer to the information in the section "Technical data
(Page87)".
Note
Dimensioning of the purging gas outlet
The following applies for the dimension of the minimum internal diameter and length of the
purging gas outlet:
• The permissible internal pressure in the enclosure may not be exceeded by the selected
design.
• The volume ow of purging gas during the pre-purging phase must amount to at least
60 l/min for the selected design. For additional information about the purging gas refer to the
section "Technical data (Page87)".

The installation location should be easily accessible.
