Check the device annually for electrical safety and functionality as well as leakage (needed
for introduction of hazardous gases) of the sample gas path within the device.
Check the device following each intervention in the gas path (containment system) for
leaks (needed for introduction of hazardous gases). The leak test is described in the section
"Leakage tests (Page74)".

Contact your Siemens representative to clarify if a product is repairable, and how to return
it. They can also help with quick repair processing, a repair cost estimate, or a repair report/
cause of failure report.

The product may have to be decontaminated before it is returned. YourSiemens contact
personwill let you know for which products this is required.
Note
Return of products with lithium batteries
Lithium batteries are dangerous goods according to the Regulation of Dangerous Goods, UN
3090 and UN 3091.
• Remove lithium batteries prior to shipment.
• If the battery cannot be removed, return the product according to the Regulation of
Dangerous Goods with special transport documentation.
6.6 Disposal
Devices described in this manual should be recycled. They may not be dis‐
posed of in the municipal waste disposal services according to the Directive
2012/19/EC on waste electronic and electrical equipment (WEEE).
Devices can be returned to the supplier within the EC and UK, or to a locally
approved disposal service for eco-friendly recycling. Observe the speci󹪝c
regulations valid in your country.
