3. Loosen the jam nut (counter clockwise) on the
adjustment bolt and turn the bolt out. Slide boom in
towards motor to provide enough slack to remove
chain from sprocket (Fig. 078).

plates securing the boom to the trencher arm (Fig.

4. First, remove the chain from the nose roller (Fig.
