7. Close the printer swingarm. Press down on the ridges on the front of the swingarm to latch it
completely.
8. Close the printer supplies access door.
9. Unlock the embosser and open the supplies access door.
10. Remove the used cleaning card from the reject tray and discard it.
11. Lock the printer and embosser. The LCD displays Ready and is
available to print cards again.
HINTS & TIPS
Use each cleaning card one time only.
Change the cleaning sleeve each time you clean the printer or change the print ribbon.
Clean the Embosser Rollers
You also can clean the embosser flipper module rollers by selecting a test card option in Printer
Manager. Do the following to clean the embosser rollers from Printer Manager:
1. Log in to Printer Manager using the WebAdmin username. Refer to the printer’s Installation
and Administrator’s Guide for complete information about using Printer Manager.
