TheDigi Connect and ConnectPort TSFamily wireless devicesDigi Connect Wi-SP, Digi Connect Wi-EM,
and Digi Connect Wi-MEcomply with the RFexposurelimits for humansascalled out in RSS-102.
Thesedevicesare exempt from RFevaluation based on its operating frequency of 2400 MHz, and
effective radiated power of 100 milliwatts. This would be less than the 3 watt requirement for a
mobile device (>20 cm separation) operating at 2400 MHz.

Thesedevicescomply with part 15 of theFCCrules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions: (1) These devices may not cause harmful interference, and (2) These devicesmust accept
any interference received, including interference that may cause harmful operation.
Radio Frequency Interface (RFI) (FCC15.105)
This device hasbeen tested and found to comply with the limits for ClassBdigital devices pursuant to
Part 15 Subpart B, of the FCCrules. These limitsare designed to provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference in a residential environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can
radiate radio frequency energy, and if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, thereis no guarantee
that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off
and on, the user isencouraged to try and correct the interference by one or more of thefollowing
measures:

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.

Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
n
Connect theequipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is
connected.

Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TVtechnician for help.
Labeling RequirementsFCC(15.19)
This device complieswith Part 15 of FCCrules. Operation issubject to the following two conditions:
(1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) thisdevice must accept any interference
received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
If the FCCIDis not visible when installed inside another device, then the outside of the device into
which the module isinstalled must also display a label referring to the enclosed module FCCID.

Changesor modificationsto this equipment not expressly approved by Digi may void the user’s
authority to operate this equipment.
