Before turning the laser equipment on, check and ensure that:
• The laser system has been installed and guarded to Class 1 laser safety
standards (EN60825), see “CLASS 1 GUARDING” on page 1-9
• Only authorised personnel should be present within the operating area of
the laser marking system.
For IP-rated print heads with compressed air cooling only, ensure that:
• The compressed air supplied to the print head does not exceed a pressure
of 3.5 bar.
• Both air outlets are kept clear.
• Air inlet and outlet are fittted correctly.
Before starting any production
• Check the laser marking system for any visible damage.
Ensure that it is only operated in "best possible" condition
Discovered defects must be eliminated immediately.
•Check and ensure that material or other objects not required for the
production are removed from the operating area of the laser marking
system
• Check and ensure the flawless functioning of all safety devices.
All valid rules and laws for accident prevention are to be observed.
