7-6. When the stitching position is not at right angle to paper
Fire, electrication, injury,
malfunction, or breakdown may
be caused by disassembling the
parts which are not specied in
this manual.
Do not disassemble the
product more than needs.
• Do not use the L-wrench for purposes other than instructed in this manual.
• Before following the procedures below, turn off the power switch of this machine referring
to the procedures in ”1-2. Turning off the power”
(p.2-2)
and disconnect the power cords of this
machine from the wall outlet.
If the stitches are not at right angle with paper, adjust the angle of the saddle-stitching stopper and the
stitching side guides.

Move the saddle-stitching stopper lock
plate to the operator’s side to release
the lock.

Turn the saddle-stitching stopper angle
adjustment according to the state of the
stitches.

For the condition shown in the gure A, turn
the adjustment counterclockwise.
For the condition shown in the gure B, turn
the adjustment clockwise.

After adjustments, align the slits of
the saddle-stitching stopper angle
adjustment with the saddle-stitching
stopper lock plate as shown in the
figure.
After completing the angle adjustment of the
saddle-stitching stoppers, adjust angle of the
stitching side guides. Make adjustment while
checking the state of the paper in the step
mode.
