Chapter 2 Basic Operation
After adjustment, press the key [11]. The paper is
stitched and goes to the folding stopper.
• When stitching has been set to o, the paper
goes to the folding stopper without being
stitched.
• When side stitching, corner stitching and
folding o have been selected, the paper is
ejected to the paper receiver.
Fine adjustments can be performed only within the range of ±5 mm/0.20 inch after size change.
If the paper size entered and that actually used differ by more than 5 mm/0.20 inch, you may
not be able to adjust precisely. Depending on the paper size, adjustment even within the range
of ±5 mm/0.20 inch may not be possible. In this case, enter the correct paper size again, and
perform the size change.

Adjust the position of the folding side guides using keys [1] to [4] and the folding back guides using the keys [6]
to [9].
Perform jogging using keys [5] and [10].
Adjust so that the guides touch the booklet edges lightly.
After adjustment, press the key [11]. The paper is folded and ejected, and the step mode ends.
When trimming is set to on using the trimming on/o key before starting the step mode, a booklet is
trimmed and ejected.
