10-2. Replacing with the paper guide roller unit (small)
Use this when a nished size of the booklet is 121
mm/4.76 inches or less. replace the paper guide
roller unit with the supplied paper guide roller unit
(small).
11. Setting the Conveyance Belt Timing
You can adjust the timing and the operating time of the conveyance belt on the control panel of the DBM-
600
(p.1-32)
or the PC CONTROLLER.

11-1. Adjusting conveyance stop timing
When there is a scratch on a booklet or a booklet is trimmed skewed because the booklet is away from the
stopper, adjust the conveyance stop timing.
• When a booklet is scratched because it strikes against the stopper, make the conveyance stop timing
faster. If you set it to a negative value, the timing will be faster.
• When a booklet does not reach the stopper or it strikes against the stopper and bounces back, make
the conveyance stop timing slower. If you set it to a positive value, the timing will be slower.
11-2. Adjusting conveyance restart timing
When there is a scratch on a booklet or a booklet jams at the stopper because the booklet is thick, adjust the
conveyance restart timing.
• Make the conveyance restart timing slower so that a booklet is conveyed after the stopper goes up. If
you set it to a positive value, the timing will be slower.
11-3. Adjusting start timing and operating time of the stacker belt
According to a booklet size and thickness, adjust the start timing and operating time for the conveyance
belt of the stacker. The larger the number, the slower the start timing and the smaller the number, the faster
the start timing. On the other hand, the larger the number, the longer the conveyance time. The smaller the
number, the shorter the conveyance time.
How to adjust the start timing
• When a booklet is thick and does not go under the paper guide roller, faster the conveyance start
timing. If you set it to a negative value, the timing will be faster.
