8-3. Adjusting the height of the stitch ejection roller R
When paper is large or the number of sheets is large, paper may not reach the folding section because it is
slowly conveyed to the folding section from the stitching section. Adjust the height of the stitch ejection
roller R.
Standard position: top

Loosen the stitch ejection roller R knob
screw.

Turn the stitch ejection roller R height
adjustment clockwise.
The roller goes down.

Tighten the stitch ejection roller R knob
screw.
8-4. Adjusting the folding roller gap
If a booklet jams in the folding section, the gap between the folding rollers (folding roller gap) may be too
wide for the paper thickness. Adjust the folding roller gap on the control panel.

Press the roller gap adjustment key on
the [Adjust] screen.

The folding roller gap adjustment screen is
displayed.

Press [4] or [5] to adjust the folding
roller gap.
[1] Current setting value is displayed as a
parameter.
Setting range: -45 to 45, default: 0
[2] The current value is displayed in mm/inch.
Setting range: -5.85 to 5.85 mm/-0.23 to
0.23 inch, default: 0
[3] The colored range on the bar shows the
proportion of the total setting value.
[4] The folding roller gap becomes narrower
by approx 0.13 mm/0.005 inch.
[5] The folding roller gap becomes wider by
approx 0.13 mm/0.005 inch.
