You can change patient status alarm levels and limits. For more information, refer to
Control Settings on page 4-5.
System Status Alarms
System status alarms are triggered by mechanical or electrical problems. They are of
lesser priority than patient status alarms.
There are three levels of system status alarms:
 WARNING — Serious mechanical or electrical problems.
 ADVISORY — Mechanical or electrical problems.
 MESSAGE — Additional information only.
The monitor’s response to system status alarms is as follows.
NOTE
System status alarms cannot, in most cases, be moved from one level to another.
However, you can set default alarm levels for the following system status alarms:
ECG LEADS FAIL, SPO2 PROBE OFF, SPO2 PULSE SEARCH, NBP NO
DETERMINATION.
The System status alarm levels are configurable in MONITOR DEFAULTS >
SETUP DEFAULT DISPLAY.
