ENGINE

Adjusting the valve clearance

NOTE:

·The valve clearance must be adjusted when the

engine is cool to the touch.

djust the valve clearance when the piston is at

the Top Dead Center TDC) on the compression

stroke.

·Remove:

·driver seat

·passenger seat

·console

1. Remove following parts：

① spark plug

② cylinder cover

③ Crankshaft position sensor

④ Inspection hole cover

⑤ bolt M6 x 10

⑥ cylinder #1

⑦ cylinder #2

2. Remove：

① remove the bolts

② Crankshaft position sensor

③ Inspection hole cover

④ cylinder cover
