C300 faceplate indicators/displays
The faceplate of the C300 Controller contains four LEDs and a four-character
alphanumeric display as shown in Figure 6. The labels on the LEDs are: Power, Status,
FTE A and B.
The Status LED uses a 3-color scheme of red, green and orange. Generally, green
indicates OK, red indicates power up tests, a fault or failure, and orange indicates backup
mode. Blinking LEDs indicate a soft or hard failure and help to point to a problem. Soft
failures also are indicated in other displays throughout the system. The four-character
display provides additional controller status information, refer the Faceplate display
information. Directly below the display are two LEDs that indicate FTE activity.
