Step 2 Ensure that the system where the HFC is located is powered o (the power
indicator of the system is steady yellow or o). Press the ejector release buttons to
eject the ejector levers. See step (1) in Figure 5-139.
Step 3 Raise both ejector levers on the HFC. See step (2) in Figure 5-139.
Step 4 Pull the HFC out of the slot while holding the ejector levers. See step (3) in Figure
5-139.

Step 5 Remove the TPM or TCM and USB ash drive from the connectors on the HFC,
and place the HFC in an ESD bag.

This topic describes how to install a High-performance Fusion Console (HFC)
when you replace the original one or replace the USB
ash drive, trusted platform
module (TPM), or trusted cryptography module (TCM) on the HFC.
