4 Removing the RH8100 V3
This topic describes how to remove the RH8100 V3.
Scenarios
Remove the RH8100 V3 if:
● The main chassis system of the RH8100 V3, for example, the backplane, is
damaged.
● The RH8100 V3 needs to be relocated.
Impact on the System
Removing the RH8100 V3 will interrupt the services and programs running on it.
Prerequisites
Conditions
At least four people are required to lift the RH8100 V3 because it is heavy.
All services and programs running on the RH8100 V3 are stopped.
Data
Data on the RH8100 V3 has been backed up.
Tools
● ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves: used to prevent ESD damage
● Screwdriver: used to loosen screws
