Software keys and guidance for LPAR system upgrades
Customers running logical partitioning (LPAR) may have more than one version
or release of a software product on the same iSeries server. Version and release
upgrades are acquired via Software Maintenance for customers running in LPAR
just as they are for customers without LPAR.
It is now possible at V5R2 and V5R3 to order additional primary languages for
use in a partitioned iSeries which has multiple languages. This is supported by
the following feature codes.
