Connection description

2. Type a name to identify the connection and then click OK.

3. Click the Connect using drop-down list and then select TCP/IP (Winsock) (see

Figure 16-6).

4. In the Host address field, type the IP address.

5. Type 23 in the Port number field and then click OK.

The HyperTerminal program window displays.

6. From the HyperTerminal program window, click File > Properties.

7. Choose the Settings tab and then click the ASCII Setup button.
