Drive mode integrated control
system (if equipped)
Drive mode
The Drive Mode may be selected
according to the driver䳓s preference.
The mode changes whenever the
DRIVE MODE switch is selected,
Drive Mode will change as follows:
ECO → NORMAL→ SPORT→ ECO
When the ignition is turned on, Drive
Mode is set to ECO by default.
䳜 If it is in Eco mode, Eco mode will
be set when the engine is
restarted.
䳜 ECO mode: ECO mode improves
fuel efficiency for eco-friendly
driving.
䳜 SPORT mode: SPORT mode pro
-
vides sporty but firm riding.
Start Stop Coasting (SSC) is acti
-
vated when Drive Mode is ECO.
The driving mode will be set to
NORMAL or ECO mode when the
engine is restarted.
䳜 If it is in NORMAL/SPORT mode,
NORMAL mode will be set, when
the engine is restarted.
䳜 If it is in Eco mode, Eco mode will
be set when the engine is
restarted.
When the ignition is turned on, Drive
Mode is set to ECO by default.

When the Drive Mode is set
to ECO mode, the engine
and transmission control
logic are changed to maxi

mize fuel efficiency.
䳜 When ECO mode is selected by
DRIVE MODE switch, the ECO indi

cator will illuminate.
䳜 If the vehicle is set to ECO mode,
when the engine is turned OFF
and restarted the Drive Mode set

ting will remain in ECO mode.
Start Stop Coasting (SSC) is deacti

vated When towing a trailer. But
Start Stop Coasting (SSC) may be
not deactivated when towing a
trailer purchased from after mar

ket. When towing a trailer pur

chased from after market, it is
recommended to set the Drive Mode
to NORMAL or SPORT.
