Driving your vehicle Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) (if equipped)
/ Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
䳜 The options for the initial Blind-
Spot Collision Warning includes
the following:
- Normal: When this condition is
selected, the initial Blind-Spot
Collision Warning is activated
normally. If this setting feels
too sensitive change the option
to ä³–Lateä³—. The warning activa
-
tion time may feel late if the
side/rear vehicle abruptly accel
-
erates.
- Late: Select this warning acti
-
vation time when the traffic is
light and you are driving in a low
speed.
If you change the warning timing,
the warning time of other functions
may change. Always be aware
before changing the warning timing.
Operating conditions
The function enters the ready sta
-
tus, when 䳒Active Assist䳓 or 䳒Warning
Only䳓 is selected and the following
conditions are satisfied:
Active Assist
1. Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance
Assist will activate when:
䳜 Vehicle speed is between 60
km/h (37 mph) and 200 km/h
(120 mph).
䳜 The function detects both of
the lane lines.
䳜 An approaching vehicle is
detected next to or behind your
vehicle.
2. Blind-Spot Collision Warning will
activate when: The vehicle speed
is above about 20 km/h (12 mph).
Warning Only
1. Blind-Spot Collision Warning will
activate when:
䳜 The vehicle speed above
approximately 20 km/h (12
mph).
* Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance
Assist is not activate.

light will illuminate on the outside
