If you have a flat tyre (with spare tyre)
Removing and storing the spare
tyre
Turn the tyre hold-down wing bolt
counterclockwise.
Store the tyre in the reverse order
of removal.
To prevent the spare tyre and tools
from ä³–rattlingä³— whilst the vehicle is
in motion, store them properly.
If it is hard to loosen the tyre hold
-
down wing bolt by hand, you can
loosen it easily using the jack han
-
dle.
1. Put the jack handle (1) inside of
the tyre hold-down wing bolt.
2. Turn the tyre hold-down wing
bolt counterclockwise with the
jack handle.
Ensure the spare tyre retainer is
properly aligned with the centre of
the spare tyre to prevent the spare
tyre from ä³–rattlingä³—.
Otherwise, it may cause the spare
tyre to fall off the carrier and lead
to an accident.
Changing tyres
1. Park on a level surface and apply
the parking brake firmly.
2. Shift the shift lever into R
(Reverse) with manual transmis
-
sion/intelligent manual transmis
-
sion or P (Park) with automatic
transmission/dual clutch trans
-
mission.
3. Activate the hazard warning
flasher.
