28.
Open the cover (11).
29.
Open the cap (13) of the reservoir tank (12), and add the
Non-Amine Engine Coolant (AF-NAC) to the middle be-
tween FULL and LOW of the dipstick (G).
30.
After adding, close the cap (13) of the reservoir tank (12).
31.
Close the cover (11).
32.
Check that the radiator caps (5), (6) and the sub-tank filler
port cap (7) are closed.
33.
Run the engine at low idle for 5 minutes to remove the air
from the coolant, then raise the coolant temperature to
90 °C or higher, and continue to run for approximately 10
minutes.
34.
Stop the engine.
Wait until the coolant is cooled down to the ambient temperature.
35.
Turn the starting switch to ON position.
If the radiator coolant level caution lamp lights up, add the Non-Amine Engine Coolant (AF-NAC) according
to the following procedure.
1)
Turn the starting switch to OFF position.
2)
Check that the engine is cooled down. Turn the radiator caps (5), (6) and the sub-tank filler port cap (7)
slowly to remove.
3)
Add the Non-Amine Engine Coolant (AF-NAC) through the coolant filler port.
When adding the coolant, the sub-tank filler port cap (7) area is filled with coolant faster than the radia-
tor caps (5), (6) area and the coolant may overflow from the cap (7).
At that time, close the sub-tank filler port cap (7), and add the coolant from radiator caps (5) and (6).
When the radiator caps (5), (6) area is filled with coolant first, close the radiator caps (5) and (6), and
then add the coolant from the sub-tank filler port (7).
4)
Tighten the radiator caps (5), (6) and the sub-tank filler port cap (7).
36.
Install the radiator top cover (4) with bolts (3) (4 pieces).
37.
Install the sub-tank top cover (2) with bolts (1) (4 pieces).
METHOD FOR CLEANING RADIATOR FINS, AFTERCOOLER FINS, OIL COOLER
FINS, AND AIR CONDITIONER CONDENSER FINS
WARNING
• If the compressed air, high-pressure water, or steam hits your body directly or dirt is scattered by
use of it, there is a danger of personal injury. Wear the protective equipment such as the protective
eyeglasses and dust mask.
• Before cleaning and checking the fins, always stop the engine and check that the fan does not ro-
tate.
If you touch the fan when it is rotating, it will cause serious personal injury or death.
