Measure the dimension (B) from the shoulder at the rod
head of the front suspension cylinder to the top surface of
the flange.
Dimension (B)
223 to 243 mm
Reference (C)
441 to 461 mm
Ask your Komatsu distributor for inspection if there is any
problem found when checking the front suspension.
4.
Install the cover (3) with bolts (2) (2 pieces).
METHOD FOR CHECKING LENGTH OF REAR SUSPENSION CYLINDER
1.
Loosen the clamp (1).
2.
Remove the cover (2).
3.
Measure the distance (D) from the shoulder at the rod
head of the rear suspension cylinder to the top surface of
the flange.
Dimension (D)
166 to 186 mm
Ask your Komatsu distributor for inspection if there is any
problem found when checking the rear suspension.
4.
Install the cover (2) with clamp (1).
METHOD FOR BLEEDING AIR FROM BRAKE CIRCUIT
WARNING
• Stop the machine on a flat ground, turn the parking brake switch to “PARKING” position, chock the
tires, and then bleed air.
• When air bleeding is performed, the brake may be released and the machine may start moving. It
may lead to serious personal injury or death.
Stop the machine on a level ground and chock the wheels before bleeding the air.
When any brake circuit device is repaired or replaced, or the hydraulic piping is disconnected, bleed air from the
brake circuit.
Warm the oil up to a temperature of 40 °C or higher before bleeding air to improve the air bleeding performance.
Bleed air from the rear brakes and front brakes in the same way both on the right and left sides.
Perform the air bleeding on the rear brake first when both the rear brake and front brake need the air bleeding.
Items to be prepared
• Vinyl hose
Use a commercially available vinyl hose.
• Container with oil in it
